Jelenetfotó 4.4The documentary 'Growing with Lisette' watches a kindergarten teacher working with children during her last of 33 years. There's Christian, who has a problem resolving his conflicts. It's about Dilara, a Turkish girl, her development in learning the German language and how Lisette engages with her parents. It’s the touching story of little Leander, his lonelyness and the difficulty he has in making friends. At the end Lisette has to realise that the parents, under pressure in an achievement-oriented society, are really looking for something else and forwarding the pressure to their own kids. The filmmaker's own children, students now, grew up with Lisette over a period of seven years. They attempt to capture her work, to strengthen children for democracy and freedom, in lasting pictures.
