Ciro Cappellari trained and worked as a photographer in Patagonia, Argentina and shot first short film in Buenos Aires. After spending two years in Europe, working as journalist and photographer in Italy and later in Munich, moved to Berlin at the end of 1984 to study at the German Film and Television Academy (DffB). Since 1989, Ciro Cappellari has been working as author, director and director of photography.
