Marina Anedda has been a researcher in the field of photography for over 20 years. She is especially concerned with the cultural patrimony of her island, recording its traditional and current manifestations. Among her notable works are: the reportage of the territory of Villasimius inspired by the travelogue of the German philosopher Ernst Junger, research on craftwork_ breadmaking, filigree work and shepherding in the Barbagia-Sarcidano; reportage on the historical districts of Cagliari, that of the man-river relationship in the high valley of the Flumendosa River and the major Sardinian popular festivals (Sartiglia, Ardia, Sant'Efisio, Settimana Santa, Carnival). Her first documentar, 'Tu nos, Ephisy, protege", was made in 2006 and received the got film award by a Sardinian author, at the SIEFF in Nuoro.
