Jelenetfotó 3.3Three elder people – a Jewish family from Russia, now immigrants in Germany. At the time these people grew old – it was in the 1990s – in Russia the whole system collapsed. The decision to move to Germany was born. 60 years ago, during the war, grandma already had to flee from the Germans to Urals. Now, the family moved in the opposite direction – to Germany. And now, they are here – in a block in a Russian Turkish Ghetto in the city of Hanover, without speaking the language, in an age, where it seems impossible to change. But they fight in order to continue their life in Germany. They have to learn everything anew – to walk, to speak, to live… The 66 year old Mum discovers her head for business, which was suppressed in the Soviet Union. Her husband Grisha, 70 years old, discovers the Jewish Religion. The 88 years old Grandma is cleaning her flat with last powers on a daily basis. And the daughter is shooting a portrait about her family, in order to understand her family in a completely new way.
