Jelenetfotó 2.2The film presents an ancestral ritual in conection with the cult of the dead people, still practised in the villages from the region of Lapush county durin the Palm Sunday. The preparation begins on Sunday with the cooking of ritualic knot-shaped bread, the most important of them being "PRINOSUL", a bigger knot-shaped bread Romanian - "colac", ornamented with different symbolic forms. On Sunday morning in the cemetery yard, after the ritual prayers for the deceased ones, there are handled the shape breads over the grave, as a funeral feast in a clay vessel or in a plate. The ritual continues at the church where, after the Holly Mass takes place, at the "Masa Mosilor" (the Ancestor's Table) and "Incuscrirea Simbolica", between those people who has young people which are going to merry in the future. This invocation of the deceased people ritual is, in fact, a bridge between the past, the present and the future.
