Hannah Leonie Prinzler works as a filmmaker in Berlin, Germany. She was born in the former Eastern part of the city in 1980. Between 2000 and 2007 she completed a degree in Media Arts and Design at the Bauhaus University in Weimar, Germany, and at the College of Fine Arts of the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. During her studies she created several video installations which have been exhibited internationally, i.e. at Viper Festival in Basel, Rencontres Internationales in Paris and Sónar Festival in Barcelona among other places. From 2006 to 2008 Hannah produced and directed her first feature-length documentary in co-production with the Film and TV Academy „Konrad Wolf“ in Potsdam-Babelsberg. Since then she has been working as a freelance author, editor and filmmaker.
