Marcin Latałło – was born in 1967 in Warszawa, Poland, raised in Germany and then in France, where he studied directing at La fémis (State Film School) in Paris, then he finished a one-year course in cinematography at the Łódź Film School. Son of Stanisław Latałło, whom he consecrated his first documentary: A Trace and a book: Unfinished Portrait. Worked on the films of Andrzej Wajda, Agnieszka Holland and Krzysztof Kieślowski (for whom he translated the screenplays and scenarios of the Three Colours Trilogy in French). Lives in Łódź now, directed two short features: The Beginning and Night’s Kiss, and is currently directing other documentary for Polish Television: Our Street. Behind the Poster, also a documentary, attended the ExOriente workshop in 2004 and is currently in preparation (also coproduced by Polish TV).
