Stéphanie Gillard is born in Paris, France, in 1973. After law studies, she started to work as an assistant director on “Universal Techno”, a documentary directed by Dominique Deluze. Then she worked as an assistant of the producers in Agat Films company. Graduated from ESAV Film School in Toulouse (Ecole supérieure d'audiovisuel), she worked 4 years as a producer in La Ménagerie-Xbo films, an animation studio and documentary production company. “The verb and the foot” was her first movie. It has been released on Arte and selectedin a dozen of festival around the world. It received a star from the SCAM (French documentaries author society) in 2007 as well as the Jury Special price fom the International Sportsfilm Festival in Palermo, Italy. “The Little Princes and the Sand School” is her second film.
