Introduction
Diego D’Innocenzo was born in L’Aquila (Italy) in 30/09/1959. Graduated in 1979, he started to work in fiction and cinema in 1982, first as cameraman and than as assistant director. In 1984 he founded L’IMMAGINE, the production company for which he has produced and realised about 60 documentaries, mainly broadcasted by the RAI Radiotelevisione Italiana, the leading Italian television network, by the RTSI, the Italian language television in Switzerland, and other international broadcasters. The last production of 2006, Living in a perfect world (70’), was realised as a full commission for National Geographic Channel International’s series “No Borders”. Since few years he is member of jury for the International Cinema Award “David di Donatello”. In 2007, together with the director Marco Leopardi, he found the documentary production company TERRA SRL.
