Description of the content
Thirty kilometers from Deva, hidden among the Carpathians lies Kismuncsel, once a flourishing mining colony. The hope of a better life attracted hundreds of people here in the 1960s. The mine was closed down one and a half decades ago, and the workers soon scattered in all directions. Only a few families have remained, clinging to memories and trapped by poverty. The camera takes an inventory of the little traces of life left.
