Description of the content
Váci road is one of the most important roads in Budapest. In the 20th century it was an industrial district with lots of factories and the colonies of poor, uneducated workers around it. It was one of the poorest districts of the city. After 1989 everything has changed. The factories went bankrupt, and the workers disappeared. But Váci road has resuscitated. Nowadays it is full of offices and malls. The documentary shows the old and the new with archive and new shots.
