Description of the content A surreal taxi-driver is driving around the city in search of something he had left years before (the Berlin Comune). The scene takes place in Berlin, around its streets, its parties, its occupied houses, its trendy clubs, its “wagenburgs”, through the border zones, through marginal realities. Travelling by the “carontic” taxi the city flows on the window and passengers, like souls ferried across a river, let their thoughts, their visions, their listenings flow in the same way. What is reconstructed is a part of the city, of its history, of its trends, of tolerance, of everyday life. Nationality is the common reference for all characters: they all are Italians who expatriated themselves to seek their own dimension elsewhere. In Berlin they form the little “off” italy. A community made up of a peculiar emigration… migrants led by the need of finding a place where to live their own individuality without constraints. Their telling becomes a choral narration of various humanities which mix together in a common reality and shows the city as a melting pot of cultures and experiences seen from different points of view.
