Description of the content
On the 4th of July 2002, Eva Schmidt, Hungarian ethnologist, died in the Western-Siberian town of Khanty-Mansijsk. Four months later, a three-member delegation set out to bring home and make an inventory of her legacy. The mission failed and the legacy only arrived back in Hungary some six months later. Lack of interest and sacrifice; scientific diplomacy and Khanty shaman women; political intrigue and the curse of a goddess; a fantastic folklore collection that is still closed and inaccessible and Eva who promised to return and guard her collection and the fate of the Khanty people in the form of a bear. This all makes up: The Legacy.
