Description of the content A colony of roughly 1,000 people settled in Romania Kőhalom Railway Station Estate for the job opportunity offered by the parquet fabric works. A mixed population of Romanians and Hungarians moved there. Many young székely living among poor conditions in their home village in Székelyföld headed there with great expectations of a new possibility to find their fortune. After a while some of them were able to construct small houses on a lot received from the state, though the majority will forever remain residents of block houses constructed for a temporary period. These small flats consisting of one room and a small kitchen are barely good enough even for a temporary period. The film allows us to watch the parallel history of six families; we may laugh but we also sympathise with them.
