Description of the content
Afghanistan – Our image of the country is determined by the pictures of war that we see in the news. But what about the cultural life? The film accompanies five performers of German-Iranian origin on their journey to Kabul to the 2007 National Theatre Festival. The festival provides them with a unique opportunity to meet girls from various local theatre groups. Due to their understanding of the Iranian language and culture, the women gain insight into the hopes, dreams and fears of the young Afghan girls.
