Description of the content
The Gypsy Lazi family sees emigration as the only one way out of their dire situation in Hungary. Their chosen destination is Bolton, England, where there is already a sizable Hungarian Gypsy population. We follow the family’s remarkably quick integration to life in England over two years. But as British factories close their doors to foreign workers in 2009 because of the world reccession, the Lazis look toward hard times once more.
