Description of the content
Técső is located in the middlemost of Máramaros county. Numerous folks have lived here together for decadaes – besides Hungarians there are Rusyns, Slovaks, Romanians and Gypsies, and until the mid 40’s the biggest rural Jewish community of Middle Europe also lived here. The Técső Gang consists of rusyn speaking gypsy musicians who know and play the music of all these folks. The film records the most important stations of their two years. We can see their performances as well as their lives.
