Description of the content The film calls attention to the raison d’être of sign language. Signs are efficient means of communication and visual experience at the same time. The Deaf characters of the work, who also actively participate in the propagation of sign language, let us have a glimpse into their lives and share their feelings as well as their ideas about sign language with us. The film “Hand-waltz” is an invitation to the hearing community to get to know, like and accept sign language.
