Description of the content The Essencia Brasileira „bossa nova” quartet from Santos, the most populous port in the World, visited Hungary in 2007 to hold a concert at Pécs, during the Ibero – American Week, then searching for common groove music experiences through the roma villages of the region to arrived to Sántos, a small Hungarian village with 584 inhabitants. These examples can show us that despite the distance (in time and space) between ethnical groups, people can anywhere and anytime – irrespectively of their identity –speak an identical language. In music - as in other fields of art - has been already happened that dissimilar styles hybridized and later fantastic things were born. In our case we did not hide in studio, behind audio mixers, but we recorded and looked for treasures of spontaneus musical and human encounters. In our story the beas gypsy folklore and the amazing gypsy music from Ormansag (the mixture of classic beas gypsy music and effects of South Slav music) met the authentic brasil melody. A new musical style was born – the gypsy „bossa nova” or as we call it „bossa roma”! Where it turns out what the difference of an accent is! The meeting of the men from Santos with the ones from Sántos is more than a „cheap joke”! Most of the inhabitants of the Hungarian villages live in a extremly close community. These people can be described by suppressed emotions, diceased self-doubt, defeatism, addictions. What happens if dustmotes get into the daily monotonity? An effect, which is new and different from the known, the brasil mentality?!
