Description of the content With thorough investigation and through admiration for the untold stories, Mundi Romani, a documentary series co-produced by the Romedia Foundation and Duna Television Hungary, explores the amazing world of the Roma from Kosovo to Spain through Romania, France, Macedonia or Israel. The 11th episode of the series was shot in February 2008 in Jerusalem. Unknown to Israelis and ignored by Palestinians, the Arabic-speaking, Muslim, Domari community of Jerusalem originated from India, just like their Romani cousins. We get to know them and their courageous leader, who set up the only Domari NGO in the whole Middle East in order to save Domari culture and give pride to the Domari, a first step in the long journey towards recognition from the majority societies and economic development.
