The main activities of an independent film production company 12 MONKEYS Ltd., PRAGUE, CZECH REP., include production of creative feature films, especially documentaries to be released in cinemas and on TV both in the Czech Republic and in abroad (the new feature documentary called "Peace with the Seals” is being shot now in coproduction with the Italian company PANDA FILM or the last film produced by 12 OPIC, called "The Ill-fated Child” which was awarded the prize for the Best Czech Documentary 2003 at the International Documentary Film Festival in Jihlava, has been be released into cinemas in the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia in 2006. 12 OPIC also offers film and video post-production made to order using their STUDIO (AVID editting room and sound workplace, colour corrections, special effects). Last but not least, 12 OPIC is also famous for organizing educational seminars and film cine-meetings in cooperation with important institutions such as the National Film Archives, the Association of Czech Film Clubs, FAMU, Charles University or the National Museum (the conference „On seals and men“ or the International travelling cine-meeting „Remembering and forgetting”.
